As it happens, one of my jobs id making 3D films for theatres that move in relation to the image— Think Star Tours with 3D glasses. Each part is thought out— If you accelerate, the theatre tips back slightly and can rise a few metres, pushing you back in the seat, banking and dropping also as necessary, tilting…

What makes this explanation a bit ridiculous is (amongst other things) that holograms are images that exist in 3 dimensions, not simply stereoscopic imitations of depth like in Avatar.. therefore they take up sapce and exist in a certain place..
