OWL. Shit.

She looks appropriately woried in that screen shot. And Patrick Wilson looks kinda pissed. Like he's gonna pull on an own costume and go all Watchmen on those ghosts.

Throw in BatManuel and I'M THERE!

Oh boy! I think I may have a new profile image!

I didn't say it ripped off The Incredibles, just that it was similar and more bland. But yeah, Angelina Jolie with an eyepatch, that was pretty cool. Sucker Punch will have more garter belts though …

While I watched Sky Captain, I kept thinking, mysterious island, heroes lured, approach by sea … hey, this is just a more boring version of The Incredibles!

Make that D'OH HO!

Tiny Ho?

Tiny Ho?

Praise away. No one on this thread has stated that Corman didn't make some good films. We're praising Demme because he directed one of the films talked about in this article. Corman did not.

Lobsters, what do you mean by "a different way to look at Corman's career?" As far as I can tell, you're suggesting that we judge his worth as a filmaker by looking at the films he made and nothing else. That's not exactly a revolutionary viewpoint. Southofheaven didn't say that we shouldn't take that into

Well, it really couldn't have gotten worse. Either slightly better due to a rise in quality or slightly better by going off the rails, like The Cape.

I actually liked his arc in this episode and thought the actor was ok. I'm just not sure I can forgive him for the past actory weaknesses. I, like Noel, enjoyed him prepping himself to get thrown into the wall.

Futurechimp - I know I'm wayyyyy in the minority, but I still break out In My Head and give it a spin every now and then.

He didn't seem super forthcoming. I don't think I've heard an interview with him (maybe Fresh Air, I can't remember), but he just may not be much of a talker. I agree though, would love to have read more.

Meanwhile we twist in the wind and make due with clips on youtube. Rewatching the double segment of X on Letterman.

These fuckin' bands could be my life … before I got married anyway. D Boon was the best.

You need another TV.

Definitely the best since the pilot. The best ones (so far) haven't dealt with the huge cases, 'splosions and what not, but the smaller ones that creep to a conclusion. I didn't mind that this ended well because the good guys have to win once in a while.

Yeah, WTF?? Disrespecting pie on national pi day? That's beyond the pale.
