I liked the set up in Snake Eyes, the first third or so and Carla Gugino's clevage. Then the rest of the movie happened.

Stormy Monday weren't too bad.
There's nothing less sexy than, "uh yeah … hissss … uh yeah … hissss … uh yeah … hissss" … glance at watch. Repeat.
"Not the face!" … to quote Andy's wife.
Yeah, I feel like the show has really grown. It's not quite necessary (yet) but really good. I still feel like TCC could bloom into something better partly because it is starting out more promising that Southland started. But it'll probably be cancelled before it gets a shot.
Yeah, I wasn't completely sold on this during the NBC run. There was too much that seemed swiped from better and more engrossing shows. But, it was head and shoulders above almost anything else then airing on network, especially NBC. I'm glad it got picked up.
He can grimace with the best of 'em. I just want the Irish lawyer to show up and do some magic lawyerin'!
Too bad Boomer is on Hawaii fieev oooooh.
That's how I read it.
$3 pshaw. I picked up Monster for $.99 in 1997 when the record stores were awash in unwanted copies. Worth every cent!
I'm so old-school that even my loving conforms to a strict DIY ethic.
As long as his punches have the power of kicks.
In a lot of ways, jazz is easy to get into. If you see a live album of a name you recognize, pick it up. The double album of Sonny Rollins at the Village Vanguard, Bill Evans in Paris and a personal favorite, Freddie Hubbard live at the Left Bank. I picked all these up knowing almost nothing about them.
I don't think they're sellouts.
I mean, the spearhead of any group representing change almost can't be, by definition. It's later folks who come along to milk what's been established who are sellouts. Your England Dan & John Ford Coley or what have you. Loggins & Messina?
Damn, you really want it.
Did you just notice that it bends oddly to the left or something?
This comment earns an A plus. Because Rahm scares me.
Agreed. The Unit was ok, something to have on and pay half attention to. So far The Chicago Code seems like it could evolve into something better than that. Maybe not The Shield, but …
Swanstep - I more or less agree. The ending isn't completely devastating since we see the sister walking away. But part of why I find it so depressing is the way it presents this guy who tries to protect the only thing he cares about (his sister) and by the end has lost her. And in doing so has pulled compromised…
Rainmaker sounds awesome. Almost like a bookend to Elmer Gantry (I second the praise for that film, BTW).
