Uh, that's bizarre. But I'm glad I know.

God what a great movie and what a crushing ending. You leave knowing that these horrible people are in an even worse place that they started. Also, if you want to feel pessimistic about human nature, do a double feature of this with Ace in the Hole (criterion edition as of a couple years ago). Fun weekend!
30 Rock was renewed thanks to the constant jabs at "CableTown". Comcast didn't want to seem like a bad sport.
I don't know what show Watcho is watching, but I want in!
I'm pretty much sold on the show. The first two eps were a little iffy, but this was quite solid. As Noel said, the bank robbery stuff in particular. The Shield it is not, but I think superior to Southland. BUT, the preview for next week has me concerned. A serial bomber? These shows work best smaller and more…
I'm surprised by how strong Lauria's accent is. Very subtle and at first I wasn't even sure he was doing one. Although, I suppose he could be from Illinois. Jason Clark is fine. Accent may be wrong, but it's at least consistent. Beals really throws me.
I'll take random memory stew for a hunnert, Alex!
Yikes. Red hair + bangs vs blonde and no bangs. I wouldn't know where to turn.
I liked and dislike it. I liked some of the continuing development aspects, but disliked the mystery of the week. Really? Two people in love can breach the universes? That seems a stretch. Should be happening all over the place.
Agreed! If I were single and if Bernadette were a real person and not a character and if she knew I existed and if she were not with Howard … I would totally ask her out.
I actually thought the first season of the first CM (with Mandy P.) was pretty damn good. It had the right balance of disturbing realism and ridiculous criminal behavior to keep me engaged. Then some delicate balance was shifted and it became completely ridiculous. Or maybe it always was and it just took a few eps for…
Glengarry Glen Ross 2: this time, 3rd prize, you're dead!
As is often the case with this show, I enjoyed the episode but can't really say why. Maybe because I skipped last week. Every other week may be about right.
Bill - funny you should say that. I am just assuming that this season is all a fever dream of the dude who still loves Olivia Dunham and is in a coma.
If they write Poochie out of the story, we'll never get an answer to the age-old question: does she only do it doggie style?
I haven't seen this movie, but will have to now. The famous (and rightfully so) sequence in The General with Keaton tossing railroad ties from a moving train to clear debris from the track … one of the few times I can honestly say my mind was blown.
I wouldn't say that Frontline entertains me, but American Experience often does. Frontline I watch because it enlightens (and embiggens!) me and afterward I feel superior to anyone who doesn't watch it.
I've only seen two episodes and you definitely can just jump in. I'm already pretty much caught up (with a few loose threads here and there).
Don't worry; they rerun these every four hours.
Yeah, both Death by Fire and especially Law & Disorder are more gripping and eye opening. I think I'd file this with the various "CSI is not real, folks" media entries over the last few years, but still quite worth watching. It lacked a little bit of punch for me because I had heard the details of the woman who died…
