If Hammett had kicked the kid on purpose, he would have one-upped Blixa Bargeld.

This was the first episode this season where I wasn't able to mostly suspend my disbelief, so I shouldn't complain too much. It's been such a high quality run, for the most part that my few quibbles won't distract me for too long. Plus, as someone else noted, soon we get an Olivia / Fauxlivia smackdown!
Maybe he has figured it out, more or less, but figures he's getting to nail her now so why mess with a good thing … that's what I'd do.
Hm. I like the idea of the Observers being descended from the first people. One problem I had with this ep though … if the first people were (in some roundabout way) responsible for the burying of the machine parts and then marked the location by longitude and latitude, would tectonic movement have not well, moved…
Idris Elba = amazing accent. I didn't realize he wasn't American until after I'd seen the show.
So, you're saying there WON'T be digital polar bears floating around the Arctic? That was the basis for all my future fiancial planning. I'm ruined!!
That means he shoots first.
Matt - completely agreed re: Patrick Wilson. He's a good actor, but I have no idea of his range, because he's never cast as anything different. Well, maybe Watchmen, but I try to forget that role on account of his butt.
The terrorists hate us because when you someone eat it. The sandwich, that is.
She is a mediocre actress but I still like her. Did Todd say 'spunk'? That's a pretty good adjective for her. She's enjoyable and I like to watch her in smaller roles. She can't carry a show tho'.
The Gorn was awesome. I loved that he waved hello.
The swastika was one of my lol moments as well. And Abed's, "who taught you to be a juice box?"
Character??
"He's a man of deep, furious convictions unafraid to live by his ideals, even at the cost of the comfort, safety, and happiness of his own family."
Yeah, the pacing was definitely a little off, expecially with the Cam / Mitchell plot. My favorite was in the opening, when Haley's boyfriend admits to having a sex dream about Claire. And later when Haley is talking to him on the phone, "I'm just in bed with my Mom. No, it is NOT coming true!"
Also check out his WTF (since he mentioned Marc Maron). Marc is surprisingly, well I guess not that surprising, confrontational while still obviously liking Mike.
You'd be surprised.
Tragedy + time = a successful theme for a family restaurant or drinking establishment?
Kaleb - If that was your issue with Modern Times, pick up Tell Tale Signs (assuming you haven't). Certainly not as raw as, say, Freewheelin', but worth a listen.
Yeah, just see above …
Creative subject lines.
I know people have noted the subject lines (those "Dallas, 4:34pm" things) being used more creatively recently. Melting into the background, on Dan's bumper, thing like that. Has anyone else thought they might be a direct reference to Fringe?
