I quite liked Priya as a character (and would welcome her back) but I'd take Bernadette in a heartbeat. Mostly because I am more familiar with the character and because she is adorable.

I have not read the book and just the phrase "tendon snapping rape scene" makes me shudder. That may scare me away for good.

Is that a quote? Did he really say "remake" the book? I usually don't correct other people's language, but that one is really confusing. Wouldn't he have had to re-write the book in order to remake it, rather than adpoting it for the screen?

Another vote for Stranger. Although, I've always felt you only need one album from these guys. They're mostly the same. But you do need one.
