Sorry, but I agree with soce. Yeah, the existence of ghosts is a departure from the real world, but that's not the same as a plot hole — the narrative just has this gap in it. It's jarring and weird.

I thought it was just me who found this movie to be wildly overrated. I didn't even really like it as a kid. When I saw it again a few years ago, I just sat there waiting for it to end.
