HoH was better than I thought it would be, but it still felt like a calculated mixture of Vox and The Fermata.  Those books were great for their time, but taking sexual-writing cues from books written in the mid-90s and expecting them to work now isn't going to work.

@Mexican Blade Runner. Damn right he is. CTB is one of my favorite movies while CTD has Grace Jones, Wilt Chamberlain, and some of the worst/cheapest 'monster' special effects I've ever seen. The statue that turns into that thing with the horn is so amazingly shitty looking that it should earn an 'F' for that alone.
