What I was questioning was…
What was with the game Jacob & Blackie were playing? It actually looked sort of intriguing…Granted, there's a chance that it's some sort of ancient precursor to a game that already exists, & I'll look like an idiot, but I'm still curious.

Quite honestly?
As long as they actually had footage of robots vs. wrestlers at one point, it was destined to score at least an A- in my book. And it did not disappoint. Well, save for the fact that I'm disappointed Robots Vs. Wrestlers isn't a real life event.

Honestly?
I would've given this episode an A just for the equation of Puppy + Ron Swanson's Mustache + Ron in General + Aziz's Puppy Voice.

Dammit NBC…
…Stop cockteasting us already.

Yeah, I actually found that to be very neat & amusing…Though it also got me thinking: How are Bart, Lisa, & Maggie blonde when their parents are a brunette &…Um, whatever you'd call someone with blue hair?

Also…
Gotta love Kent mentioning the nuclear explosion having enough power "to create seventeen Hulks & one Spider-Man" followed by an artist's rendition. Funny bit there: The Hulks & Spider-Man just randomly facing off on a baseball field for some reason. Reminds me of American Dad! a bit.

Note to Todd:
So are you (or anyone else in the AV club) going to be reviewing those last 4 new King of The Hill episodes they're putting in syndication this week? Gone from the Animation Domination block, but not forgotten…

Disappointment
…Seriously thought that this would be a look back at the short-lived game show based on the classic computer quiz game, or some new show based on it I hadn't heard of. Expect to see a lot of initial disappointments from readers all over the net.

Typo alert
"I thought the first episode was super-strong and merited an A- while the second episode was more of a B so collectively I'm giving tonight's double-barreled 30 Rock a B-."

@ Quirk: I actually considered Bakugan for a moment, but then questioned if that crap was actually popular. Turns out that apparently at 25, I've already become an out-of-date codger.

"Like he was when he was an ice dancer? Remember, it was his winter secret?"

I'm going to be the straight man & say "What is Spin?" if only because I f***ing want my $800 afterwards.

Cop shows
"James Ford and his buddy Miles, fightin' crime? You kiddin' me? I would watch that show every week."

Dang
I thought the Lady Gaga announcement would be that she's getting a four-song track pack on Rock Band next week (alng with Eric Cartman's rendition of "Poker Face" as a standalone single). Would've loved to see the AV Club comment on that.

And let's not forget Butters' addiction to Back Door Sluts 9, which he accidentally mistook for an LOTR movie in South Park years back.

Phil's guessing…
The moments with Phil & Luke just gleefully seemed to be like Homer & Bart out on a crazy bonding scheme, particularly when they were guessing what was aactually under the house (Arrowheads! A suit of armor! Gold bars!). Even more so at the end when they mentioned the steamer trunk in the attic (more

Hell Yes
…We finally get SOME clue as to what the damn numbers are for: They represent candidates! Now begins the countless theories as to which of our remaining five/six is the "special" one…Kind of hoping it's Hurley, if only so he has an excuse not to be killed off.

For the heck of it
I'd like to throw in Hank Hill (from King of the Hill, natch) falling in love with a boy band (which he thinks sounds like doo-wop) after listening to a fifteen-second intro. Then he acts like he's a huge fan or such, then becomes surprised to learn their music is actually upbeat & more suggestive,

Nah, that one isn't really questionable because the episode came out around the same time as Achtung Baby (& possibly the Zoo TV Tour), which was massively popular.

I loved how they called their system the "Funtendo Zii". Oooh, those writers really racked their brains coming up with that biting parody.
