Afraid of the cdc
I'm wary of this CDC thing. I like science, I like science fiction, I am a scientist, but the "science" we saw was du,b. I groaned when I saw what he saw in the microscope, it was patently absurd in many ways. While i might like a well done sic-fi take on zombie apocalypse, this looked cheesy and

Glee Apologetics
When does it end?

It may be possible that its just not a very good show overall.
Why is it that so many people love the show but when they discuss the show it seems they are more interested in the idea or its potential than what actually happens?

So classic
I've seen this story a million times. If you ever had a HS or summer-camp team project you've seen this. A misfit kid (Michael C.) gets some power, gets to pick a team, and will pick the most popular/powerful kid. This they think, will garner them favor with the cool kids. That cool kid then makes sure

Gretchen stole that skirt from Vanna White.
Who could deny it?

A challenge for Tank.
How about they compete to make a harness for handlebar-mustache makeup guy (aka Tank)?

Treme is like that quote from Lisa about jazz in that neither make much sense.

Yes but Hamlet has good dialogue. It's interesting just hear the lines delivered. Treme has no witty repartee, no unforeseen events, no particularly likable characters, no interesting sets, no interesting character dynamics, no plot, etc. There are two good things about the show though: 1) The Indian costumes a

I guess I don't get it.
I've been counseled on and encouraged to watch this show by a friend, but now that it's over, I'm so…bored. I'm no adrenaline junkie, but no character on this show ever did anything unexpected. I could tell when the writers wanted to make us feel something was unexpected (Creighton's death -

Okona
The episode's jokes were not funny, and I cringe when it rolls around on the tiro, but I always laugh at the "my timing is digital" joke.

Hide and Q
I think Q's desire to bring Riker in makes best sense when viewed along with Voyager's Q episodes. The continuum is apparently a stagnant and boring society that lacks ambition and purpose. I could imagine they'd want to bring a human in to revitalize their culture. This episode doesn't explain that, but

One more thing..
I don't think Lost will stand up to re-viewings. When one knows the end of a story, you re-read/watch it so you can see how it all logically fell together, and marvel at the parts you missed the first time. Lost can't do that, because so many of the things it spend SO MUCH TIME ON turned out to be

Island used for good and evil?
You say of the island: "It's a source of great power that can be exploited for ill and thus must be protected. " But thats never been shown. Its never been shown that anyone has used the island's power for anything ever (beyond the teleportation of polar bears to Tunisia or the mild

Wheres the chemistry?
One thing I liked about the series was it used to always pepper in little chemistry facts. Walter would always pull out some MacGuyver chemistry to solve some problem. I could accept that it could be corny, but it gave the show flavor/humor. They never do that anymore.

I liked it but…
the script did not adequately set up Walt's irrationality about the fly. I mean, I get that they wanted to set up this situation, this situation where two characters get locked up together and have to interact and open up and bond. Its been done a million times, most recently on House and Family Guy.

Episode I
As a friend of mine commented, this episode seemed very "Phantom Menace."

Ten bucks says John May is Tyler's REAL dad and hes some hybrid Vhuman thing and thats why Anna's daughter wants to bone him or something.

Its also interesting that while V's have no regard for human feelings, rights, dignity etc. They still want to make sure the guy isn't embarassed being naked in front of his doctors. At least TNG would have the evil aliens interrogating you while strung up naked. I'd rather have them ask him repeatedly how many

Way to improve the show:
I mean, if the show is gonna be shitty, but have lots of hot aliens, they could at least go for more nudity. I think Showtime should pick it up, put it on at 11:30, cut the budget on the CGI and just show lots of dicks and titties.

This show makes no sense.
First, where is the govt? I realize a lot of people see the metaphors towards Obama and lizard-people consp. theory and healthcare reform, but where is the govt in this show? Are they just lock-step cooperating? Are they all V agents? What?
