I did see that, I just assumed they were joking.  Hilarity is in their charter.

Sometimes the person getting the most out of the deal is the comedian, since the venue provides stage time and an audience he or she wouldn't otherwise be able to get.  Sometimes the venue wins, because a talented comedian is drawing in customers.  Sometimes it's a mix.
