It was a pedestrian episode that suddenly exploded into glorious beacon of comedy awesome with Campbell's second rap. That rap alone made the episode worth the listen.

I just started reading this. The prose definitely seems leaner than some of his other works, although it's still very clearly Gaiman, but I'm enjoying it so far. I am noticing that it doesn't seem to have a literary heft to it yet. Although The Graveyard Book didn't really have a heft to it until the middle, so I…
I tried Dogfish Head's Sixty-One and was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't a fan of Noble Rot, so the idea of melding an IPA and syrah must made me a bit skeptical, but Sixty-One is actually quite refreshing. A good cookout brew.
Trader Joe's pilsner is pretty solid. I think it's called Simpler Times? It's a pretty easy sipper and I think there's a hint of sweetness to it that kind of makes it stand just above a fine but forgettable ranking. It's a good summer brew.
Fresh Tendrils is a great song. Probably my favorite on the album (which I still unabashedly love).
That sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing!
That's exactly where I stand on it and fruit beer. On the whole I'm very indifferent to fruit beer, but this one nails the watermelon proportion. It's an accent, not the dominant flavor. Such a good brew.
So strange things are still afoot at the Circle K, huh?
Ah yes, movie tie-in dessert products. I remember those Hostess pies that were dyed green and full of "mutagen" for the TMNT movie.
I know the popular story was that the Twinkies were killed off because of union costs, but did anyone stop to think that perhaps they went away because no one was buying them anymore? Maybe I don't run in the right circles, but I can't remember the last time I saw anyone buy or eat a Twinkie, adult or child. Maybe…
I'm interested in hearing more about this chicken and turkey chili you speak of.
Bonobos was doing a sale on their sale items last week and so I picked up this shirt:
It's been an almost relentless 90+ degree heat and humidity here in Massachusetts and I've landed on 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon as my current go-to cool down/thirst quencher. It's spot on.
Yeah, that's something. Even better is that I think she has said in a previous episode that he met her when she was working at a mall food court.
Ben Schwartz in the studio almost always a guaranteed great episode for me. Although I had a different reaction than the reviewer's to Kulap's story about whining her way to an engagement ring.
This summer has been sponsored by gin and tonics for me. I learned about Fever Tree tonic water and everything has been coming up Milhouse for the gin and tonics ever since.
I'm with you. I stand by my appreciation for the first two Days albums. That's some great guitar playing there.
Hey thanks!
I read this article about it a little while back.
I wanted to like Nike Frees but they effectively blew out my knee 8 miles into a 12 mile run. It was a sad, arch support-less 4 mile walk home.
