Perez has a new giant hardcover devoted to his body of work. I highly recommend it. Guy is the Michaelangelo of comics.

@Sleeper99999:disqus I DO remember that one. Romita Jr. art, barbarian spell on Manhattan, half his mask torn off as he uses the last of his Spidey-strength to pull himself free. Untouchable.
Four HBOs usually outdo one so-so Mad Men.
Holy Christ, it had to be a George Perez one in the early #200s, around 1982 or so.
Think Marvel Team-Up was the first comic I ever bought, even before Avengers or X-Men.
Where else you gonna see Spidey get impaled?
Wow, he does seem like he would be a cool guy.
Saw him sitting with his infant child at a DC Nader convention in 2000. RIP.
This version looks really joyless. Who wants to see "Spider-Man Begins?"
At worst the reader is…reading, not developing a smoking habit.
Actually reading comics at an early age helped me attain a degree of literacy far beyond my peers (math and science weren't so hot, but that's another story…)
That's Wasp's sting did kick some ass at times (when, I can't exactly tell you…)
The Death of Superman created that 'multiple covers/multiple copies' phenomena that nearly sank both Marvel and DC in junk value.
Because of that scene where Annie wears the see-through top? Fap, fap…
Another good What If (which number I can't remember): The Avengers lose the Kree-Skrull war, are put into internment camps on earth - real old war movie feel to the thing.
Yeah, and Cap was kind of an asshole (kicking Banner in the face seemed really bullying).
She was even funny in Who's Harry Crumb, as the disinterested, erm, sexpot.
Have a mint copy of Journey Into Mystery #85, Loki's first appearance. Might be time to part with it while Hiddleston is out there bringing attention..
That's the sad part; comics run from $2.99 up now. Without the reuse value of video games, no wonder the companies are whoring themselves to whatever movie studio want to take a shot at them.
Wow, Ultimates 3 is like a Franzen novel. Good to know!
Read some What Ifs, like #3, where the Avengers feud and break-up even before they find Capt. America (great cover, incidentaly), #46, where Hulk goes nuts during his creation and kills Iron Man, so that Thor has no choice but to break his neck, or the Civil War TPB, where they fail to stop Norman Osborne's evil…
