I preferred the Office series to Extras, but I liked the Extras Christmas special better than the Office ones.

Yeah, that didn't seem to match everything else we know about his character. I think it could have worked and would have fit better with the character if Andy's conversation with the extra went as it does in the show, but then the director came up to ask Andy what the extra had wanted and Andy said, "Nothing…
I don't blame Andy for firing his agent, Darren. This review described Darren as "loyal", but was he? He wasn't necessarily "disloyal" but, through a combination of ineptitude and not caring, he often worked against Andy's interests. If I'm remembering some past episodes right, calls would come in for work that…
Failed twentyies.
I agree that parents will go to amazingly great lengths for their kids, including crossing moral lines that they wouldn't do if it was just to protect themselves.
Yeah, that stuck out to me when Angel said. On a cleverer show, I might assume that the show was being smart and subtle by having Angel say that - because a lot of people in real life really do think that way, and the word "terrorist" really is used that way often in the mainstream media. But I don't give Dexter…
"Hello whore!" == "Hi ho!"
For a second there, I thought they were combining two great HBO shows:
Here's a twist that I'd like to see next episode:
It's funny you should use that reasoning. I just caught a rerun of Corner Gas a few hours ago, and Brent's gas station was shut down for a few days while a underground gasoline leak was being fixed. People gave him a hard time that it was categorized as a "level 5 health hazard", and he eventually pointed out that…
How can someone defend a show by saying "only the people on the internet figured it out and people in real life [were] shocked"? Is this 1996? "Only those dorks checking their emails and 'hacking' into mainframes would care about this."
Yeah, she should be one of those hypnotherapists who (probably unknowingly) trick people into thinking they were abducted and probed by aliens.
Very few cartoons are broadcast live. It's a terrible strain on the animators' wrists.
I found the wording strange when Brandon declared that he would set "an example for Christ". I know he meant on behalf of Christ or something like that, or for the sake of Christ.
I loved her in "A Love of Two Brains" with Clive Warren.
@avclub-bb6aca4b94bdae62f45a385e994584b3:disqus You might be right that it doesn't matter what happened at the end of the series, but if anyone says they don't know what did happen or that it was open and just showing us different "possibilities", then they haven't read this: http://masterofsopranos.wor…
I agree, and in no way do I think that Dexter will become a devout believer or anything that will cause him to stop killing. And he can't join a specific identifiable church, because if he becomes a member of, say, the Southern Baptist Church, Reformed of 1840 then that will offend people of wildly different…
But they won't let you leave a fan running overnight - that can really cramp your style.
That was the most entertaining scene of this episode. She was sassy! (And a bitch, yeah.)
Speaking of Steve and Beth, what a smug, cynical portrayal of people of faith. Having Travis represent faith gone mad is one thing, but having Steve and Beth as the jes’ folk, murder-cult zealots next door is just kind of offensive.
