Good to hear. I avoided several free screenings of The Uninvited cause I didn't wanna spoil Tale.

I think this is where I tell you to die in a rheumaticswinefeverblizzard or something.

I read the questions, but
I decided not to read Toback's responses. Since he made Black & White and Harvard Man, I assume it would only amount to more of my time being wasted.

This was an A
Seriously, I think this was the best episode in weeks. At least the best since "Goodbye, My Friend." Maybe that's just because I don't see the show's being zany/goofy as a negative. It get's me laughing, which is what I look for from 30 Rock.

Basically you should listen to the following B&S songs:

Alex Baldwin and/or Gene Hackman, please.

In 1997, when I was 13 or 14, I bought a VHS of Crash, sight-unseen, to provide me with what I assumed (based off of the NC-17) was about the best jerk-off material Suncoast Video could provide. I wound up really confused and not very horny and I never watched that tape again.

I Feel Lucky …
That I got to see him speak about 1.5 months ago. The talk was very generalized, filled with technical difficulties, and he only got through about 10 minutes worth of material in the hour-plus that he was on stage, but he knows how to engage his audience and he's got a great sense of humor (he entered

He had a lot of interesting things to say about his attempts (via the X-Prize Foundation) to spur human progress via our innate competitiveness, but since he founded Zero Gravity Corp. and basically pioneered commercial parabolic flight ,he talked

I'm with mbs. That was a hilarious gag.

Cool Topic
I grew up with my mom, since my parents divorced when I was 2. We've never really had congruous tastes, so a lot of my pop culture education came courtesy of guys she dated and my friend's parents. One of the dudes she dated was the original promoter for the Beach Boys, so even though he was a huge douche

Careful
Yes! I'm thrilled you're doing a write-up of this awesome movie. Maddin's thematic eccentricites and aping of German Expressionism lend themselves so well to TNCC.

The Season, So Far

Thanks, CraftyJack, for providing irrefutable, independent confirmation of my suspicions.

Maybe it's just me, but this book sounds like basically the worst crime ever visited upon fiction.

My thoughts exactly. The article as great, and all of the material covered is fantastic, but I'm more than a little disappointed that "She" (my favorite Parsons' song) didn't get any ink.

Oh, I was beaten to the punch.

Dengue Fever: Something Something Mee Krob
Does anyone know what this is / whether it is any good? I've seen these folks play a few times and I really dig them.

The screening I went to was in Austin, at the Alamo Drafthouse. It was a sing-a-long, and I was kinda shocked by the fact that damn near everybody in the audience knew the lyrics.
