idiotking, The story I read goes like this:

Jack Donaghy on 30 rock pores himself a glass of scotch in almost every scene that takes place after 4pm. It's Johny Walker Blue which is ridiculously out of character for a man of his stature to drink a blend.

I'm a bit shocked that everyone thought Ben was evil before, and is not now.

My vote is for Grizzly Man. If you're intimidated by Herzog, then this film will bring him down to the human realm. I was struck by his humility, humanity, and kindness throughout this film. There are some people in that film that a more pretensions man would mock or look down on, and Herzog treats them as equals,

So the truth isn't worth telling?

Malcom Reynolds in Serenity should be the chief focus of study in every college level awesomeness class around the world.

Vladdrak feels very strongly about this. I don't understand why. Maybe he should talk to a therapist.

I read Smokey's reaction to Kate as a realization that his lies to Claire had been uncovered. How's Claire going to react to being lied to for three years by her father figure? Kate stalled any Claire revenge by mentioning that Claire abandoned the baby in the jungle. And Claire may have buried that memory, but

God in the Torah is a monster. Over the centuries he's come in line with modern human morality, but at his source, he's more of an asshole like Jacob and the Smoke Monster than the benevolent sky daddy of modern imaginings.

Sun started as what we were set up to believe was a meek victim of a bad marriage. She turned out to be an equal partner in fucking up the marriage, and fell in love with her husband as a result of their shared hardships on the island. She became a powerful hard-line revenge fanatic after her husband's death, and

Jackie Chan is a madman and a genius, and he looks great with his shirt off. He's said in several interviews that he doesn't get the humor of the American films he's done. Jackie Chan films are not about artsy stuff, they're about Kung-Fu and insane stunts. He's awesome at those things.

John, how could I forget the worst example of this phenomenon?

Wow. Geajojij, that's some hard core trolling.

How's this for specific?
I'll avoid any movie that stars an actor like Anthony Hopkins, Harrison Ford, or Al Pacino with a younger male actor in a 'serious' film as headliners. Invariably the whole purpose of the script seems to be to push the career of a younger star, by making them seem more 'serious'.

The fanboys will already know who is directing the film, and go watch it. Advertising is to get people to see the film that aren't already interested.

The ring of ash around the cabin had been broken.

I don't think they knew what was up with Locke until they found his body. They didn't show it on screen, but everyone seemed to be rather confused by Locke rather than threatened on Hydra Island. Locke and Ben had been gone awhile when they found the body, and started heading toward the main island.

I considered the war between Widmore and Ben to be resolved. Widmore was leader of The Others, but then got banished from the island, by Ben. Widmore wants to come back to the island, and get his leadership position back. He has the same religious devotion to the island that Ben and Locke have, and will do anything

Alt-Ben is just a whiny anal retentive. He could have been a badass punching-bag zealot genius level manipulator and leader, but now he gets worked up to the point of yelling over coffee filters.

It might be important that Jacob never took the time to cross out Locke's name even though Locke died at least several days before Jacob did. Why was it up to UnLocke to cross out Locke's name?
