I think the set up make them seem like they were going to say they were the exact same (and all of Randy's ranting was obviously poking fun at them both being bad), but then when they started showing Garrison, it became clear that it's unqualified vs. not particularly likeable.

I kept expecting a Sausage Party-esque joke with them screaming in pain when someone ate them.

There was a preview clip, as they tend to do, of this episode where the national anthem seemed to be people reciting a really long thing about how "fuck the police except when I need help getting my stolen stuff back" (I'm paraphrasing). I'm wondering when they (presumably) replaced that with the JJ Abrams anthem.

Thank you for making Nightcrawler.

It's about changing the culture.
I'm not at all saying trans characters need to be treated well; I'm saying that having a room full of people calling a guy "gay" for dating a trans woman will reinforce much of society's belief that dating a trans woman is the same as dating a man.

She seems popular on Twitter.

Are you saying five people animated this or the two who are not listed as stars animated this? Because, either way, that seems like too many people.

Five people created this?

Pretty like a stop-motion figure with a noticeable line across its face?

but that was a comedy

I think we largely agree as far as the idea that a show should be true to whatever the creator wants on screen - and I cannot stress enough that I enjoy this show and felt the scene was done well - but I think it's foolish to believe that art exists in a vacuum and I think Glover realizes that which is why he had his

Hopefully 2016 takes it away like it did StarWipe.

You are citing the fact that you watched some episodes of Cops as evidence that trans women are not targeted and killed for being trans?

Next week, we'll be talking about "The Streisand Effect" in the comments to the "Go For Broke" review. I could keep going, but I'd pretty much just be stealing @Derek_Noakes:disqus ' Pre-Taped Call-in Show mention earlier in the thread.

I liked it even better when Paper Boi was saying there's something wrong if a woman calls him daddy.

Unfortunately, I think that's going to go over many viewers' heads and I don't think it necessarily helped that the trans woman hardly said anything. Not that the scene needed to make a political statement, but I can't imagine many people viewing that scene thought "wow, trans women are put in the wrong prisons."

I like the show and I am not necessarily against that scene, but last week's comments included a guy who felt the joke was basically just that the guy didn't know he was dating a man and that's how plenty of viewers are going to see it - the butt of the joke is the transwoman and the "gay" man that dated her. I'm

Are these reviews going to just be one week behind the whole season?

Based on his Mark Twain Awards Cosby bit, I'm pretty sure he could fill a set with cultural observations that have nothing to do with his life.

That and Bowfinger were in this weird island of pretty enjoyable Eddie Murphy movies after he'd started making some shitty movies but before he started making more shitty movies.
