I record the routines I like and rewatch from time to time. Repeat viewings definitely show problems that may not have immediately been obvious, but man when it all comes together it's thrilling to see how great some of these routines really are. At least for me.

"Allison you're going on tour! But you have to slink around to spice up a tired song. Lauren, you get nothing."

Yeah there was a lot of hugging at the end, but Adechike looked shocked and peeved. With the way this season's going, I wouldn't be surprised if someone who deserves to stay goes home.

Is it just me or have NapTab's routines vastly improved overall from the last couple seasons? Less crap, more cool/demanding. I'm not missing Sean or Dave as much.

Ktotwf, I used to not care at all about Cruise and Travolta (boring actors and therefore didn't care about the rumors), but now they anger up my blood so because their response to the rumors is defensive, reactionary, and homophobic. In these times, not the vibe of hetero men setting the record straight, but rather

I think the conflict we have here is a lack of specificity. zxcvb is correct to a point. Studies have shown that if you're a little blue, "fake" smiling or even "fake" laughing actually improves one's mood. There's a definite feedback loop between facial expression and mood. What most other people are talking about is

Sigh, and knowing is half the battle. Damn you G.I. Joe and the Pavlovian response you elicit!

Awful music choice, Louis you should know better. And geez they were so off, so many obvious mistakes. After hitting him so hard in previous weeks, now they're going soft on Billy. What, now that Alex is gone they want to make sure a great technique dancer makes it to the finals?

Yes it was very odd to see Robert essentially in Travis drag and, as the routine progressed, move so much like Travis. But then he *was* supposed to be Travis and he did a convincing performance. I'm not a fan of Robert, but I gotta give it up for him on this one.

Except you're ignoring the fact that the judges liked it better, they just wanted to get rid Erik AKA "nobody likes my trite, uninspired ideas so I'm going to sit in a corner and sulk." Now that I have that background, I love that the judges gave the win to Red Team just so they could punt that clown.

I really should go over to Univ. of Texas at Austin and see if he is/was indeed a teacher (or maybe TA?). If so, I'd love to hear what the faculty and students have to say about him.

Speaking of, Tom joked that he was disappointed to not be part of a Pride parade given his bear fanbase so San Francisco (I think that's right) asked him to be in the 2011 parade and he promptly accepted. Adorable really.

Wait Leanne isn't with the show anymore? No wonder the challenges are sucky.

Bystander, I take your point that maybe they've just become really good friends, and I did heavily qualify my own assertion, but to your "Kent + Lauren makes just as much sense", I would say that I *do* probably know him better than you do.

Emmy noms, bad judges, stupid voters
Hard for me to believe that the Legacy & Elinor table dance didn't get a nom. Still my favorite pair dance from the show.

Yes I saw it through man-lovin' colored glasses, but that choked out "Kent" resonated painfully. Either way, we've (somewhat embarrassingly) entered yaoi territory here.

This was a terrible thing for Alex and the show. After last week (why do we need Jose's 2nd rate b-boy when Alex can dance like that?!) he was destined for 2nd place AKA best dancer but not quite "America's Favorite Dancer". Dang I'm seriously bummed. And despite Nigel's explanation, an Achilles tendon injury may not

Thus it's a smart choreographer that uses a compelling piece of music. This song is inherently dramatic, but I thought the choreo paired with it well and Ashley danced the hell out of it. She's been a relative blank for me so far this season but I sat up and paid attention to her here.

Excellent comparison On_2, Kent should be studying Pasha for maturity lessons.

My immediate thought was, "Nao should make something boring, stage a fight with another artist over the quality of her 'shocking' art, then fake stab them before running amok in the gallery." I think that might have kept her on the show.
