Given that their recent output got positive recognition from AV Club, I was disappointed Los Campesinos! didn't get a mention. Really looking forward to Sick Scenes, I can't get enough of "I Broke Up in Amarante."

I'm kinda surprised Tegan & Sara didn't make the cut, even as an honorable mention. I don't think they have been as big as an influence or impact as TV on the Radio, but they've had some notable crossover success while also cultivating critical acclaim. The Con and Sainthood back-to-back indie pop/rock smashes, IMO.
