I love smoked fish, but describing it as 'fish velvet' gives me a weird feeling. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, just weird.

I just picked up Henderson's Page One. I don't buy many CDs anymore, but when I do they're usually Blue Note reissues because they tend to be so damn cheap.
Those are all real nice. I'm gonna have to catch up on Mura Masa.
That thumb piano sound is a natural fit for Charli, though the song is pretty slight.
I wouldn't have guessed it was an xx song if I hadn't read it first. Any other good Four Tet remixes out there? I have a couple of his albums, but haven't dived into any of his remix work.
Twist!
Agree that it depends on the day. Lately, In a Silent Way. I love the way the two electric pianos play off each other and the hi-hat in 'Shh/Peaceful' is hypnotic.
I've been on a deep dive into that era for the last couple of months, so much so that I've been trying to focus on a different single performer in the group with each listen of each album. Tony Williams is amazing, not at all flashy, incredibly tasteful and compelling. And Wayne Shorter may have been the best jazz…
Not enough ill-fitting denim and blazer combos in that photo.
I love the way Berry says the word 'crumb'
I like Fielding, so I'm staying optimistic. Still, no Mary Berry is a real dagger.
Talk about your all-time backfires.
I watched that live performance just now. That guy really can't sing, can he? He's also not even really trying. The girl is much better. A version with a decent male lead vocal would be interesting. This version I just stumble upon with Sarah Hyland (!) is better, still not quite there:
The only recent comedy I can think of that benefits from having a longer running time is the director's cut of Walk Hard. Being able to flesh out some of the scenes and expand the running gags made a funny movie even funnier.
If a scantily clad Julie Bowen holding two pitchers of beer isn't making our nation's teenage boys horny, we might as well start that nuclear war with North Korea because it is over folks!
Mr. Deeds was painfully unfunny, that's where I stopped. Big Daddy was pretty bad too, but I got a couple of laughs out of it and I liked Joey Lauren Adams, so I gave it a pass.
'If this is anyone other than Kid Capri, you're stealing my bit!' - Funkmaster Flex, probably
For some reason Fireball is the go-to shot for people in my age group (people who are too old to be doing shots out at the bar, but want to do them anyway). So sometimes I'll be handed one by a friend who's ordered a round and I always appreciate a free drink, but I can't imagine ordering it for myself.
I was really afraid this was going to end with the alligator-stomping horse from yesterday trotting in and smashing shit up.
I saw the terrible Stigmata twice in theaters, I'm still not sure why. I did nap for a few minutes the second time at least.
