it's the thought that counts.
it's the thought that counts.
I'm hoping for that outcome to be honest. I know it'll feel phony because they've already done it before with Lip, but I'd be so happy.
Well, there was the whole thing with him finding out who his real dad was. And there seemed to be more to him than his relationship with Kash and Mickey, especially since Mickey was in juvie most of the time haha. In season 3, his entire story has been focused on his relationships with men, nothing more. I mean, what…
Stop telling me things I don't want to hear!! Hahah! Yeah, everything you said sounds pretty spot on with what I expect to happen next season. I wish it wouldn't go that route because Ian and Mickey feel so underdeveloped still. I wish they would have held off on the whole rape for a least a few more episodes.
Me too. I've had dreams about it. It'd be pretty bad assed and they'd be "out" and wouldn't have to hide anymore.
I'm still very annoyed with the lack of development with Ian's storyline. He's becoming more and more one-dimensional because he's not been given enough time to develop this season. Oh, he's gay, lets just give him the storylines that are only about him fucking older men and a closeted thug. Ian was so much more…
I don't think this is normally the case. With his recent stuff though it's completely understandable because Mickey was raped. Not sure how you could bring humor out of a situation that serious haha. But I can totally see how it could be jarring. Personally, I can't stand Lip's stories for the same reason, that they…
avclub always grades this show well below what I'd give it haha! This was definitely an A- episode. The strange shots with Karen talking on the phone was a little weird to me.
Really? I thought Tony looked kind of strange. I liked him better when he had some muscle on em. Now he looks almost gaunt.
I've not seen the entire series. I watched the first two seasons, but just couldn't continue because I prefer the style of the US version. imo they seem just as unlikeable, but it's done in a campy way that probably takes much of the bite away.
I thought Carl was starting to "normalize" there for a min. I actually started liking him. But tonights episode made me remember that something is terribly wrong with that kid.
Debbie is one of the few people that I love endlessly in this show.
Much of these things I just don't even think about anymore because the show has never been written with much precision.
That really comes from it's parent show in the UK. Everyone is so unlikeable, but Brits love that shiz it seems. Gotta admit, I do too. What fascinates me is the fact that they're so unlikeable, but at the same time so lovable. I love these horrible people lol.
I was right there with ya. I ALMOST started believing. But, I totally guessed that she had Hymie sent away, so the big reveal wasn't all that shocking because it's definitely something she'd do.
Fiona should have left HIM ages ago.
This. I've never really liked Jimmy to be honest. He's just becoming worse and worse. He was so willing to be there for her before, but now that the shit has hit the fan he wants to cower away? Plus, this man has done nothing but continue to lie to her, not to mention cheating!
I guess Ian's reaction was what made it seem rushed. After thinking about it more, yeah, you're totally right, it makes sense.
Hmm, I suppose I was mostly disappointed in how quickly Ian seemed to give up on it.
Am I the only one that thought this episode was a bit: meh? This season has been on fire, but this episode wasn't as exciting and interesting. I will say that the courtroom scene between Frank and Fiona was particularly amazing.
