I worked in a record store during my late teens and early twenties and I hated this movie.

Last night's episode made me question whether I even like the show anymore. This has certainly been the worst and most uneven season yet. The Great Games scene was laughably bad. I understand that it was meant to serve as a palate cleanser after the horror that came before, but it just didn't work.
Hoping we see Brienne in action during the finale…
The Boltons are easy to hate, but burning your daughter alive sends you straight to the top of my "gotta die now" list.
What happened to all the spears after Daenerys climbed up Drogon though? Did they conveniently run out at that moment, or were they just so stunned to see a good ol' fashioned dragon rider they stopped chucking?
I think I'm actually rooting for the Boltons after last night.
Nice…I didn't catch the previously on mention. I liked the fact that Qyburn included an update when he visited Cersei…gives me hope we'll see him before the end of the season…
Is Franken-Mountain gonna be the one to bust Cersei out of the Sparrow's Nest??
I sure hope so!
so, does the jim florentine character ultimately dying for acting a fool and trying to pull an upper-decker (florentine is notorious in real life for these sort of pranks as per the howard stern show) further justify the Louie word view of being boring, safe and having 2 kids etc? The scene played out very much like…
Further evidence of the totally not giving a shit feel of this season.
This was a particularly bad episode in a weak season.
Miss you already, Dave.
I became surprisingly emotional while watching the Dave finale. He's the guy who taught me what comedy is, and I feel he is more influential than any other TV personality in the modern era. When I was a kid, I was most excited when school was over and summer break began because I knew I could stay up late to watch…
Shakey by Jimmy McDonough, which is referenced in the above article, is a fantastic read that does a great job describing in detail the recording process for many of Neil's best albums. Some of the most interesting chapters in the book concern the Ditch Trilogy.
My least favorite episode of the season so far. I felt robbed by the half-fight in Dorne. Hoping that the next few will ramp up nicely to the battle for Winterfell…
This is a good set of songs, and certainly MMJs best since Z. A modern take on the breakup album.
Solid episode this week. The season is really beginning to build steam. The character development that took place during the first few episodes is now paying nice dividends.
I assume they will end up in Houston next season, as they are heading east.
I was really hoping the final Hobbit movie would do something, anything to salvage that series. It was really terrible. The Hobbit trilogy reminds me a bit of the second set of Star Wars movies, both incredibly disappointing. I didn't expect quite as much from the Hobbits though, considering the slim amount of source…
Nah, I'm not looking for Peter Jackson-style action, unless we're talking Bad Taste.
