He named her. He just hasn't revealed that he stole those codes a few episodes ago, at least not overtly on screen, which, to me, would have been a clear indication that he's helping the CIA in good faith.

I hear you. Not every time. Just…every now and then.

That's a great story! And I admire your courage. I think I got to about chapter 3 of Salem's Lot. I chickened out before the vampires are even introduced!

That's a very effective synopsis, Zieg. I had forgotten about that part, but it all came back to me in reading your post.  <shudders>

My little brother used to full-on punch the shower curtain to make sure there was nothing behind it. I'm pretty sure he never read The Shining, so closed curtains can be just plain creepy for kids. But, yeah, that bathroom scene was the one that got me too. To this day.

I keep thinking it would be good if they edited it down to about half its run time and remove the voiceovers. Just leave the imagery and the music, which I find encapsulate the tone of the show really well.

It took me a while to figure out what you meant, and I think that's due to the many faces of Brody (and I've had a long day). But you're saying, will his loyalty flip back to America? Yeah, I can see that being a really interesting question to follow. Has it already? If not, what if at some point it does? Will it be

I thought that in fact they might eliminate him. On the other hand, these writers are really good at keeping us guessing. It's true that right now, though, after this episode, I can't really see another option for the character of Brody but to be gone by season's end one way or another.

That's kind of how I saw it too. The tension of maintaining his personae crashed in on this one tense moment. He's been playing the long game for so long, he gave up trying for one moment, exhausted, and solved his immediate problem in a blunt but final way.

Thanks. I will enjoy reading that through.
