    Goat's Head Soup
I totally agree with your take here. To me, Starf*cker always sounded like a tribute to the NY Dolls. The rest of the album is the clear dividing line between the old and the new. Some songs like Silver Train, Winter and Mr. D could have fit on Sticky Fingers or Exile, whereas Heartbreaker and Angie

    Their Satanic Majasties Request
Nobody should write this album off. Very underrated. Even though this one get compared to Sgt. Pepper alot, to me, it sounds alot more like the Kinks. Once you get past the auditory "psychedelia", the songs themselves are alot more like The Village Green than Sgt Pepper. This album is a

    Great Job!
I would take Beggars Banquet off the list and put Aftermath. BB is too stiff and Exile and Sticky are better examples of The Stones' rootsyness. I would replace BB with Aftermath. Like you said it is a masterpiece and it is a stunning example of Brian Jones' contribution to Rock music.

    The best funk ever recorded
Hipster D-Bags nowadays are loving A Tribute to Jack Johnson, Agharta, Big Fun, and Get Up With It.

    I'll take
One Hipster D-Bag for me. I'm too busy to get in on the Firsties! craze. That z should be backwards.

    DVD
I've been looking forward to this for a long time. This DVD is supposedly darker than the foreign releases (which is closer to the theatrical release). DVDBeaver has got comparisons - although they don't seem to appreciate the darkness.

    ELO - Time
    ELO in the 80's?
Time is one of the great concept albums. A truly forgotten classic that stands to be revisited. One part Beatles inspired rock, one part Blade Runner, this album will never be considered hip but it delivers exceptionally produced pop music.

    Teamocil
Once I take my Teamocil I'll be more agreeable with this list.

    Me play joke
    Me Chinese, Me play joke

    Great Job Scott
I'm really enjoying this feature and am looking forward to Primer.
Since this is the New Canon and not the Old (Passenger, Holy Mountain.) What do you think of Brick or Mysterious Skin?

    Turn To Stone
    Any ELO next week?

    I wouldn't go with Ca girls either…
Too Drunk to Dream could have easily been a Grant Hart Husker tune once it kicks in. Please Stop Dancing sounds like The Human League. Dream Alone and Courtesans are two of the best.
Distortion could possibly the best break up album.
