I clicked on this review thinking about that movie, not realizing that I had already read a review for this movie and just didn't bother with the title.

I was just thinking yesterday if McG had died, possibly by shortening his name into oblivion.

And I thought…they had too many lens flares…on the outside…

That monster was a terrible host.  No crudites or anything.

I only shop there for their 3 for $0.50 petticoat sales.

Yeah, I can see why Kubrick wanted all copies of that destroyed.  Darn his brilliance inspiring historical completeness!

The Republicans and Democrats joke succinctly sums up both parties in only two seconds.

That gag works even better with the cuckoo sound from the radio.

Killer's Kiss feels like the first true Kubrick film, mainly for that ending fight where these two guys who have been acting like this blonde girl is theirs are just flailing around in a mannequin warehouse in a rather pathetic display.

I've recently begun my quest to watch the other 350 Criterion movies on Hulu Plus that I haven't watched.

Madadayo is one of the best swan songs of any director.  Seriously, Criterion needs to give that one its own Blu-ray.

I can also be a recommending man.  I've just watched all of Kurosawa's films including a poorly subtitled The Quiet Duel.

I simply don't have time to illegally download shows.  That's why I illegally stream.

Yeah, this whole Kubrick retrospective at the IFC Center prompted me to buy all his films.  Let's just President's Day Weekend was more like…Kubrick's Day Weekend.
