I think every group of young 20-somethings includes a young woman who takes off her clothes whenever she's drunk or stoned. It usually serves as the equivalent of a giant button reading "Hi! Ask me about my childhood abuse!"
I think a lot of that came directly from Roddenberry himself, considering how prevalent it was in the first season of TNG and mostly disappeared into the background after that.
