I agree with you, but then again Slate is guilty of dropping an F-bomb on live TV, so there's that. Also, thanks to their mishandling, we got Casey Wilson on Happy Endings, Michaela Watkins on Trophy Wife, and Jenny Slate on Hello Ladies/Parks and Rec.

i hope he does his jewy voice and maybe for some HILARIOUS reason is in drag at some point

Me too! It is literally one of my favourite things. Let's be friends

They definitely aren't trying to make this any more penetrable to the mainstream, so it's got that going for it.

round of applause for burning love

What I hate about Seinfeld 2000 is that it takes a good concept of pushing the ideas of Seinfeld Today into the surreal, but that it has to add on the intentionally bad grammar and spelling is grating and ruins the joke (for me at least).

I want a Perd Hapley spinoff called 'Perds and Recreation' where every episode of 'Parks and Recreation is retold from Perd's point of view.

B99 does kinda have a through-line that is very, very easy to forget - the competition between Peralta and Santiago to see who can crack the most cases.

this brings the total number of instances where jon hamm appears as a ghost on an adult swim live-action sitcom up to a whoppo total of 2!

Anna Kendrick for April's doppelgänger, in a bizarro sense?

I guess you've forgotten that the quality good is subjective. I think EAS is good, even excellent. If you hate it fair enough but that don't mean it's terrible in an absolute no question sense. Guess you do have to be able to tolerate Tim and Eric to tolerate EAS also, so there's that.

Jesus fucking christ, how much stuff does Hannibal Burress have going on right now? between his stand-up, the eric andre show, the new comedy central stuff AND now this, dude is a fucking workhorse.

Nice episode, yeah there were some duds, but nothing so bad that there was nothing redeeming. Only gripe i have where this episode loses points for me is the absence of one final 'What's Up With That?' sketch with all the key pieces still there. I just assumed it was given that sketch would show up, even though it…

somewhere in there is a six seasons and a movie reference, probably lazily written on a chalkboard. also a shoehorned take on some movie genre with paintball shoehorned in.

Let's not forget the build up that there was to who would be valedictorian, only for the writers to say fuck it in the end. could have been an easy sentimental and fan service moment to have annie or shirley give a speech summing up the last 4 years.

AH i wish i was still in ottawa for the summer so I could see the fucking canadian premiere of birdemic 2. hopefully it'll be on regular rotation like they do with the room (still have to go to one of those monthly showings)

i liked this episode a lot better than last week's episode.

Man they are really running the recurring 'characters humming 'daybreak'' into the ground this season. It was used sparingly in season 4, but this season it's been used at 2 or 3 times in only 5 episodes this season ugh. Diminishing returns, just like Inspector Spacetime.
