When I was a kid I knew it was cheesier than a Wisconsin prom but I loved it anyway for the same reason why I loved Three's Company, the actors sold the shit out of those scripts. Alan Hale Jr. can do no wrong in my eyes.

Another Oregonian here and I will defend the Goonies as well even though it was filmed in Astoria, who were our high school rivals. Fun fact: The Astoria high school's mascot is the Fisherman and my high school's is the Cheesemakers.

I havevery  fond memories of that show, I watched it with my dad. I'm very tempted to get the DVD's just for that very reason but I'm scared to watch it for the same reasons you have.

Actually The Creeply's were a Gruesomes revision and the midget cowboy outlaws were from a Quick Draw McGraw cartoon. It's not much but it pads out the team a little more. I was always hoping there was some cartoon where Daisy Mayhem was the antagonist though.
