Yeah I lived in Chicago for almost 12 years. Jesus, Detroit is southern compared to Chicago. If you mean more religious like Evangelical that isn't true at all. Like Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, St Louis, etc it's mostly Catholic.
