Also, DiCaprio proved his real worth in the scene when he exploded at Shulz and Django and revealed he knew their plan. He was so quiet and oddly charming, and then there's this EXPLOSION of anger and near offense, it really shook me.

You could certainly say they do, which for me is something that sets Tarantino apart. I didn't feel as much for Steven as I did for Candie's sister, though. That sounds weird, but she was almost just a showpiece to him, and she had that moment of humanity when she begged Calvin to cover up Bromhilda's lash marks.
