Hahaha I am in fact talking about the 9 minute prologue that will be shown in some places. The last time there was something like this (I may be mixed up in that it was also Star Trek), it showed nowhere in Colorado, but several places in Nebraska, which makes zero sense to me.

All I can say is, there better a damn theater in CO showing the 9 minute prologue before The Hobbit, because last time there was not. Although Nebraska did. NEBRASKA. Really?!?!

Looks better than I was expecting! I'm actually pretty excited…

I saw Killing Them Softly Friday night and got there 20 minutes early, expecting it to be super busy. It was maybe a quarter full…not many people at all. I was a little surprised, but seeing it made me realize a loooooooooooooot of people aren't going to like it. It's another case of mis-advertisement: it's in no way

- "YOUR OWN FUCKING FATHER!"
That line was key because I kept forgetting he was her dad and they have this strained relationship, and she feels like she owes him! KEY LINE!

Jesus, that felt like a terrible, terrible soap opera with a side story about an arsonist who is so dumb he walks on a public bus without at all covering up his identity, then kills two people and plenty of witnesses escape.

I can't blame the guy himself (and he does seem like a nice, cool dude), just whoever wrote the song, I suppose

The direction was "amateurish"? Did you watch the robbery scene?

Yeah, I assumed it was in MA, though I think I spotted a palm tree at the beginning…which confused me

I enjoyed it, maybe not as much as I was hoping. My biggest grief with it was that it felt slow-it started out so well and just seemed to really stretch out in parts. The sound was amazing though-I'm also tempted again just to better note the sound, now that I know the plot. The end was a real punch, that was great
