Give me your hands
Show me the door
I cannot stand
To wait anymore
Somebody said
Be what you'll be
We could be old and cold and dead on the sea
But I love you more than words can say
I can’t count the reasons I should stay
Give me some rope
Tie me to dream
Give me the hope to run out of steam
Somebody said it can be here
We could

I believe the legalistic solution we're getting is that Matt Smith is the Eleventh DOCTOR but the TWELFTH regeneration.

Doesn't he own a 25% ownership stake in the company or something.

And oddly, the British version happened as we saw it whereas we have no clue if the full American version aired "in universe" although the American one presumably aired Monday through Friday without reruns unless many episodes remained unaired.

He should run as a Republican in South Carolina.

They were chanting things from his viral internet video. I gather that eclipsed his presence on The Office: An American Workplace and his fans were more interested in his failed singing career and internet notoriety.

I think he moved to Austin. ;-)

Okay. So normally when we watch the show, we can assume Bob Saget Future Ted is summarizing and telling over multiple sessions.

There are a few important things I think S9 should check off. Robin living in several other countries. Marshall saving the world. The Wedding Bride II and presumably the return of Stella and her husband. (Ted first tells the mother he loves her at The Wedding Bride III.) Also, didn't we wind up with a bonus slap bet?

My assumption for Season 9:

My assumption is Eliza Dushku.

So they planned to air holiday episodes 6 months late?

If so, I hope they plan for it this time and don't just write and film half the season before launch.

NBC is desperate, right?

New NRA talking point:

I always got the impression he wanted more slapstick and scantily clad women because that's his style of comedy.

I read that as "hunting giant pandas in Canada" at first.
