I think Danny being an asshole to the addicts scene worked because it was a callback to him being an overeater as a kid. He's annoyed because he thinks their addictions renders his addiction invalid. He thinks their sullying the good name of addiction.

That was such a bittersweet  episode and I can't wait for series 2 to see where they go next. I don't know how you reacted to it but for me it kinda summed up how I feel whenever I'm trying to drag myself out of a slump. I liked that there was no t.v magic wand for Rae's unhappiness just the reminder that recovery is

I know I'm pretty late for posting this, but your point about Spotless Mind and Dr Horrible reminded me of Adaptation. Adaptation is the shit for when I feel down, it's all about being brave and open to failure.
I even have this piece of dialogue in my phone as an occasional reminder:
Donald: I loved Sarah, Charles. It

Aeryn looks like Robin Sparkles in that screenshot. Just out of frame is a shitload of jelly bracelets

I literally just figured out that the show is serious in having Juliette descend into crazy, before this I just thought it was more fucking stalling and hilariously campy acting from Bitsie.
Chappell mentions schizophrenia in the review and Juliette superficially fits the symptons.  First her memory goes and now she's

All the way through this piece I kept thinking when is he gonna bring up the cost? Because there is definitely a significant gap between what american and foreign actors are asking for.
Here's another article about it http://www.guardian.co.uk/c…

Yeah, Sherlock's plots can be very engaging and entertaining but all the problems you mentioned do irritate me too much to love it. Even John seems a bit boring to me and I don't really get the universal praise for Freeman

I really like those ticks that he's brought to this sherlock, it makes him more interesting to me, the bad posture, the bowed head and the slight stumbling over words. There's an unguarded quality to it.

After Apes-Ma's comment I went off to google Sarah Silverman feud situation and found this: http://www.huffingtonpost.c…. Its one critic pointing out how legitimately difficult it must have been to work with Harmon, her evidence being an insane comment he left after one of her reviews and a blog post where he shared

Completely on board with the roommate development, when they actually showed Monroe's spare room I started to chant New Set over and over. So hopefully he won't be back on the couch again anytime soon.

The Italians have a saying, Lemon: 'Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.' And although they've never won a war or mass-produced a decent car, in this case they're right.

Danny reminds me of Ron Swanson if Ron Swanson was a douchebag from New Jersey, although I like the actor and the lines they give him I still haven't warmed to his particular type of unlikableness. But hey it's early days still.
Anyway Nick is definitely not Charlie, I mean Charlie is actually feral, there's just some

Anyone else reminded of Charlie "Wildcard" Kelly when Nick is onscreen?  Like the clothing  the lack of hygiene, the sudden outbursts of rage, the frequent incoherence, his idealization and attempted emulation of people he admires (Fancyman), his somewhat naive, childlike views and his relatively low status job and
