Wow "live-action Roger the Alien" is so perfectly encapsulates that character - well played, sir.

That's not…what I expected Wilmer Valderrama to look like in real life.

Maybe they could do a time-traveling crossover arc in which Dennis Quaid gets all cowboy sheriff with fellow cowboy sheriff Longmire?

No, he cared enough that you made a stupid comment to take the time to comment on the fact that he doesn't care - there's a difference ;-)

I agree - I liked this show a lot more than I expected, considering I don't watch any CBS shows (OK I drop in from time to time on the old HIMYM gang too).  It's primarily just a well-executed procedural with some good chemistry between the leads, but you know what, I'll take it.

Regarding the failure to evacuate GCS, I assume they didn't want to risk tipping Parish off to the fact that they were on to him or his whereabouts, but that may not hold up to examination - just throwing it out there.

Gary's scenes are generally the ones with the most emotional resonance for me.  Who would have thought a superpower sci-fi SyFy show would have one of the best characters on television?

My guess is that it has less to do with his Alpha ability and more to do with being autistic (though it seems likely that his ability and autism are in some way connected).  Hmm, maybe the photic stimulator thingies would actually "cure" autistic people and turn them into the Alphas they are supposed to be?  God I

@avclub-b3d29f8f22c60a4b2c5fc2b1691c1d62:disqus I can see your point about getting some basic self-defense and firearms training (Note: Maybe they have, but just haven't needed, or had the opportunity, to use it yet?) with respect to Gary and Skylar, since their power/skill sets are useless in a fighting situation,
