I only ever put on Apologies to the Queen Mary by Wolf Parade the first time it snows each year. Its become so associated with winter for me that I once bailed on one of their concerts because it was outdoors and the middle of the summer and it just didn't feel right

- Adele Dazeem Abdul-Jabaar
- The Choad Warrior
- I'm the Captain, Meow

My first thought was the Purple Rain performance scenes, but that's just wishing I was at a Prince concert in the 80s.

I insisted that we watch Bad Santa one year for christmas. My Mom told me the next day that my Dad had "lost a little bit of faith in humanity."

You don't know how glad I am to know that I am not the only one who tears up whenever they hear the Umbrellas of Cherbourg theme.  I feel like that movie doesn't get anywhere near the amount of respect that it should.

Enter the Void. I've only met one person so far who doesn't think it's an overlong, annoying, controversy-baiting, shallow film. To me, it was the most exhilarating experience I've ever had in a movie theater

But that's ok, cause we're all sorted out for E's and whizz.

Just curious, are either of you guys going to one of the three "God Bless America" screenings? I would love to hear if it lives up to the hype I have in my head.
