What about that second one? That was bizarre. There was an English boxing character who literally screamed every one of his lines.

That was just appalling , what a squandered opportunity. With all the big budget sequels and reboots around why couldn't they have done it right?

There's a tiny moment I like in this movie , when Li Mu Bai first fights Jade Fox . He is besting her easily and for a millisecond he smirks , before quickly resuming his stoic expression. It was so human and spoke to his inner conflict with his warrior code.

It's not entirely meaningless. The more likes and subs you get , the more free shit.

She's thoroughly ador(k)able , and those eyes!

Can't remember the last network comedy that made me chuckle so often. The pane of glass gag was hilarious!

I love the casual brutality at the end where the Government agent physically assaults the manacled prisoner. The heroes all see this and laugh , such fun!

Yeah he's very well known to any star wars fan I'd say. There really were a bunch of extraordinary geniuses working on Star Wars. Also George Lucas.

It surprises me still , the respect shown to British TV in America. We can still knock out the odd costume drama and nature doc but it's mainly dogshit alas. Our modern dramas and cop shows are really lame and the comedies are even worse. We can't even rip off the states successfully , there's a godawful UK version of

Well there's some pretty good shows there. Loving Great News so far - Briga Heelan is delightful!

I remember this line from the Ken Burns civil war doc , quoting a diarist at the time: "We separated because of incompatibility of temper. We are divorced , North from South , because we hated each other so." It doesn't seem like so much has changed in this respect.

Is that why season 2 was so sucky? (as compared to the flawless season 1). I still think of Kristen Chenowith serenading the dog.

Does she even sing and dance? I only watch youtube clips of late night hosts singing and dancing.

it's a good ep.

She looks about 40 on that book cover. I wonder if they deliberately aged it up to give it a broader appeal.

I dunno . In England our pancakes are very thin and awful , like crepes.
I first encountered real pancakes on a trip to Canada many years ago. Sausages , maple syrup and huge thick pancakes. I thought I'd died and gone to Winnipeg.
I had no concept that a person could sit down in a diner and order food by the stack.

Yeah she's been great in everything I've seen her in , just luminous and really funny.

I'm not sure about Nichole Richie but I enjoyed the repulsed/amused look she shared with her co-anchor when the producer revealed he didn't speak till age nine.

I'm into it. The jokes are smart and funny , the supporting cast are mostly great and Briga Heelan is delightful as always.

the brain thing bothered me too , unless the tubes are marked "Brains ready to eat"
