I see lots of people say this when there TV show or movie flops. The guy who directed Kick ass 2 said the same thing, but yet we continue to have huge hit movies and tv shows.

I dont think this is one of those sitcoms that is supposed to go anywhere. Its very much in the vein of a classic sitcom, like Lucy or Cheers. Small changes will happen, sure, but its more about tuning in a half hour every week to spend time with people who make us laugh.
