Definitely and with OJ and Cosby they are guys who showed that they did not care for the average black person. And it is crazy to see black comedians like Eddie Griffin, Faizon Love, etc go out of their way to defend Cosby when in the past Cosby would have probably criticize them for cursing in their acts.

Some years ago Jay Smooth(if you do not know him he has a show on WBAI, does some work for NPR and is known for his Youtube videos) made a video saying that people should just ignore anything Charles Hamilton does that is not releasing or performing music(sadly for Hamilton people started to ignore him altogether) I

Chuck D also sort of defended Cosby.

The best example of "grown man rap" I have heard is Q-Tip's Renaissance.

DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince were definitely Hip Hop especially Jazzy Jeff. Will Smith on the other hand…

He would also have more Twitter rants than Kanye.

I think he was one of the few rappers turned actors with actual chops(his performing arts school background helped him there). He was fantastic in Juice.

I just recently discovered "Drop a Gem on em" by Mobb Deep was a diss towards Tupac.

It is also worth pointing out Tupac grew up in Harlem and Baltimore.

The biggest rappers in hip hop right now are Kendrick, Kanye, J Cole and Drake and none of them really talk that street shit. And I can not think of much homophobic lyrics for any of those artists. And while J Cole, Kanye and Drake do have some misogyny in their music it is not really the over the top NWA type misogny.

It is also funny since Eminem used to make fun of Benzino for being 40 and still rapping.

The ones on De La Soul is Dead is definitely the best. That album is like 30% skit and it is still great. Who's the Doo Doo Man?

Three of last year's nominees shows ended. So some spots opened up.

I remember on So Far Gone Drake took Lykke Li's "A Little Bit" and made it sound like a duet.

I love Kanye's music but, he has always had messed up views on women(in Hip Hop and music in general he is far from alone).Specifically with Amber Rose since he feels like he "discovered" her and turned her into the popular figure she is now. He even said it in his song Blame Game" You should be grateful a N like me

Vanilla Ice was dangled out of balcony for using someone's bassline. This has been happening for a long time.

Kanye is harmless. He just someone who is very emotional.

Plus I really do not think it does much in shaming Kanye. This is a man who once said on a track "stick my fist in her like the Civil Rights Sign" the fact that he might be into some ass play should not be a big deal.

I need to hit up B.O.B's dealer.
