Seriously, why the fuck is this so offensive? I get the feeling those people who are really bothered by it are actually the ones who want to put a "real" first post in, as though that were important. There's no denying there's a significant swell of love for this movie. It gets watched a lot in diverse social groups, by people about my age (25ish). It's like a crappy Napolean Dynamite.

I just want to say, right now, that I'm officially never being one of those people who post again just to correct obvious typos in their previous posts. I find it intensely annoying and you can all eat shit. Typos happen, especially when your fingers are cold, and as a society we can all learn to live with it.

Reveiweing thirty year old films…
Isn't it obvious why Scott chooses to review the film we already know and love? Because he was too young to give it big ups when it came out. It's a bit like giving Hamlet a Tony award though - Hamlet is Hamlet, and you can keep your fucking Tony award. Also, Shakespeare is too busy
