The problem was Morrison's writing can be obscure, he himself isn't within the comic book world, which is what Baranti said. Heaven forbid some of us think a newswire writer can insert their opinion without it blinkering the truth.

Having watched Song of the South, yes there are caricatures, but there's far worse out there. Other than the Brer Rabbit shorts it's biggest crime is the portrayal of the antebellum south. I agree it's offensive to a degree, but "cranked to 11" is an exaggeration that should be reserved for Birth of a Nation or a…
