But he forgot rule number one… Kill Homer Simpson.

KMFDM "Sucks"
I know, Time Dancer would've hit all my buttons - Gargoyles, favorite of the trio, time travel, Weird Sisters…
I took it as American Gladiators, don't know why I missed the comic book connection especially with ninjas and Wolverine-style hair.
Yeah, Wolf doesn't become interesting till they connect him to Hacon, and even then not really.
It's really only noticible to me at least when Goliath is trapped and taunted by him. Still doesn't ruin one of my favorite exchanges -
That they hired the very idiot that Marvel purged in favor of Quesada tells you something.
Which comic strip would Lars Von Trier be right for?
Like that it had a few good ideas and points, but misses the point most of the time.
Has to be a period piece, though. And John Laroquette has to voice Steve Dallas.
Tom Kenny doing a more neurotic twist on his Ice King voice.
My only complaint is that on an interior page a close-up Chewie made him look like Lumpy.
I saw that!
Not having Photoshop skills, I repeat the call for Chinderwear, and also suggest a Volkswagon.
Or if it's going to be low-hanging fruit give it to someone who can make lemonade like Steve Coogan did with Lady In Red.
So Scott Weiland isn't going to give me something I won't forget? Whew, I can put back on this dress!
Rick Perry's wasting too much time worrying about illegal kids, when his own kid is forced to spam pop-culture sites!
Also, to be fair to Peyton Reed (and yes, I groaned looking at his IMDB), he was fired from Fantastic Four and replaced with the guy who did Taxi (not the good one) for daring to want to make it true to the book, down to Kirby crackles. Maybe not an auteur but someone I think Marvel genuinely would want working for…
I agree after reading the Avengers Original Sin tie-ins, except for Iron Man, but maybe that's because he's channeling RDJ. Other than that I enjoy them, but that's because of the time travel plot, which I'm always a sucker for.
If it's the same series of anthologies I'm thinking of (read them back in 90s) there was a good Dracula one too. Best story was Lugosi meeting Vlad the Impaler during a drug episode.
