The reason it fit together so well was probably because they did it using automated dialogue replacement. Just speculating there.. but it would mean Joel McHale could just say the whole speech in a sound studio and they dub it over the video from the various scenes.

are you watching American Restoration? It just came back with a few more episodes after a very long hiatus. 30 minutes of just rick dale restoring stuff. I like it quite a lot.

to answer your question
"Do people who actually live in Chicago talk about which side they're from as much as the characters on The Chicago Code do?"

cops don't have so many areas of expertise, but this guy is meant to be a supercop, a one-man task force who jumps in on whatever case interests him. so, he's not meant to be representative of your average chicago cop.

I think it's actually a reference to this set of images that has been floating around for a while (SFW)

Word of God (@danharmon) is that Jeff sharing Joel McHale's birthdate is a mistake, and should not be taken as truth.

true that. this whole season has made me wish they'd just canceled it after one. would have been a great one-and-done show.

Wow, LloydBraun. Wow.

This has been floating around for a while.

Chang's drow was my favorite part of the episode for two reasons:

More like: this is the best an episode of Jersey Shore can ever be. If you don't like it, don't bother watching any more episodes.

this episode sucked.
also, is there a cougar town writeup coming? there was a new episode tonight.

I liked this comment more when I thought it was teasing the author for the ridiculous number of typos and misspellings in the review. Less enamored now that I've seen it's an unfunny novelty account.

In the Community episode 'Aerodynamics of Gender', Abed fashions himself a Robocop of bitchiness. Here's the quote:

savage and stark
The Whitford/Cole scenes of this series were awesome. I kind of wish "The Good Guys" had been about Savage and Stark instead of Bailey and Stark. Go for all-out ridiculousness.

Josh, her young boyfriend from the first few episodes, is gone by episode 6. So if you can't stand him, skip to episode 7.

I like that
instead of saying

more like a C/C+ episode
I dunno. It just wasn't that funny. I love Kyle MacLachlan, but the B/C plots with the rest of the gang pairing off mostly just fell flat.
