Blew my mind seeing Lem in something other than Better Off Ted (which I've been rewatching these past couple weeks). I love that dude.

yeah, there were two moments that reminded me of the human target I used to love: chance tackling the kid off the bomb, and resuscitating via alternating current.

Teen drama to watch: Misfits. E4 in the UK, or on usenet/bittorrent.

the cobra/viper thing was a rehash. Apache vs Lotus Exige, series 4. First series that was really solid front to back, although series 3 had the hilux escapades.

I just.. wow.

I am not a particularly gentle grader, but I'd give the penultimate episode of weeds an A-, and the season an A-/B+. Maybe the finale will earn it an upgrade. It's really a rather good season.

it's certainly better than anything since season 2 or 3. I'm not sure about it being one of the best TV shows this fall, though.

What it really means is that "Luther" occupies the Tommy Westphall universe, and is therefore a figment of an autistic boy's subconscious.

I almost wonder if the writers/producers were so enamored of Ruth Wilson and her character that they couldn't bear to write her out of a potential season 2.

the problem was that katie aselton was nowhere to be seen. I would have loved to see her step in as the commissioner when her husband pussed out.

my take on andy's knowledge of jules is different. he has an extensive knowledge of everyone in the gang, and since jules is his wife's best friend, and his best friend is her ex-husband, he's going to put special effort into remembering the little details of her life.

5 was the worst for me, but yeah, the casting on 4 made it quite disturbing.

hour and 15 minutes. it's uncut at least for time. dunno if they keep in some of the more graphic (violent) scenes from the UK version, though.
