I think he's a celebrated auteur inside of a very small cult.  Obviously people like Werner Herzog think he is genius, but I think its easy for his work to have detractors.

I always assumed they would replace Trebek with Mo Rocca for some reason.  Sadly there is no god in the world of early evening television apparently.

Oh no they didn't? But seriously if you are going to do something like this show some cahones and do a Malick parody episode of Community, that at least would be interesting.

Oh boy did they sure ding Terrence Malick with this episode…HEY TERRENCE YOU GOT OWNED!  But really, timely Community timely.

I think this movie at least for me will be remembered for its lazy to the point of being surreal promotion on Pawn Stars.  I have no idea why I had it on mind you but all I remember was a seemingly roofied Steve Carrell browsing knives.  I will assume this was probably funnier than the entire film.

I might be alone in this but I genuinely thought Damsels in Distress was a great comedy.  Maybe I am a bit of a Stillman geek but if you want a funny/truly great deconstruction of modern comedy its a great bet.

Go with Temptation Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.  It has all the repressive views of sexuality you could ever want, plus terrible terrible acting.

I've seen the trailer for this online and genuinely thought it was either a sequel to, or from the makers of Branded.

Its actually not to rare with kiddie matinees.  The director of "Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny" also directed "The Beast that Killed Women".

"Food Fight!" is clearly the kiddie version of Cannibal Holocaust.

I can only hope Rabin follows this up by reviewing Baby Geniuses 3:Mystery of the Crown Jewels with Jon Voigt.  Or wait til August to do a trilogy retrospective.

Seduction of Ingmar Bergman is a truly stunning album, and even Stunning Creatures of the Deep has a lot of great tunes ("This is the Renaissance" being my favorite).  But as mentioned early 70s Sparks is great.
