I always liked "Leprosy" better. "Pull The Plug" is ridiculously heavy.
On the plus side, he did get all the way through the paragraph without mentioning Wolves In The Throne Room.
Best riff: Electric Funeral
Best song: The Wizard
I always liked "Trapped Under Ice" too. "Escape" is pretty weak, and I never cared much for "Fade To Black". But all is redeemed by "The Call Of Ktulu", in spite of the shitty spelling.
Like AJFA? Go download "Victims Of Deception" from Heathen's website. It came out at about the same time from the same Bay Area scene, and it's similarly tech-y thrash.
Do TV shows count?
I've got two soundtracks on my iPod. One is John Barry's score to "Zulu", which is all kinds of awesome.
Wasn't there a Dead Meadow song on The Wire? That oughta get instant hipster cred. fapfapfap and all.
The Milkman Dan story was called "Morning Deliveries". It owes a bit to Richard Matheson's "The Distributor".
Anaal Nathrakh's latest kicks all sorts of ass. As does the new one from Otargos.
Kurtzman
EC had probably the best lineup of comics artists ever assembled, but it was really Harvey who harnessed that talent and turned out some really great, influential work.
I'd have to say the Whoniverse would be my top choice too.
Stabbed to death by another guy who was in the band.
Is there a bad way to be reminded of Bolt Thrower?
I read the article here about Ozzy suing Tony Iommi, and it's about the same situation as Infernus and Gaahl/King ov Hell had with the Gorgoroth name.
There is definitely a bunch of good stuff coming out of France these days. Belef, Antaeus and Aosoth have put out some kickass records, and Azziard's debut just rips.
Yeah! It sounds like Cookie Monster! And why do the riffs have to be so heavy? And the drums are too fast!
I like blasturbation.
Leonard is correct.
And they are fucking awesome.
