Where the Truth Lies is easily one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
James Bond was dark and gritty from the beginning, the series just got goofy and weird because they thought it would appeal to a wider audience.

I personally only dislike him as Bond because now they'll probably never cast him as a Bond villain, and I love it when Dalton plays a villain, preferably with a mustache - he saved the Rocketeer, enhanced Hot Fuzz.
