Borgen isn't without flaws, but certainly it is thoughtful, satisfying television. Thanks, Todd, for giving us a venue in which to extend the experiences of each episode a little longer. It's been a real pleasure.

I interpreted Birgitte's look at the end not as worry that no one would/could come for her but as her wrestling with her decision to purposely keep everyone in the dark. Whether she's in denial, protecting them, trying to prove she's strong enough to handle it on her own, or some combination, the doctor's question…
Yes, and "maddening" is exactly the right word for it! Here I thought we were going to be better than season 2, which seemed to arbitrarily not translate various lines, and I fear that was sneaking back in, too.
"Bubbles" wasn't a Wire reference. It was a reference to Michael Jackson's chimpanzee. V was continuing the joke after Keith said, "a monkey with a friend who's a bank representative could do it."
At first I really wanted Elizabeth to have a white tulip to give to Walter, but her "I forgive you. I forgave you a long time ago" was even more poignant. That scene was amazing, both for the narrative and for the performances. Ditto the scene with Walter and Peter at the end.
