It's really crazy that you bring up two of my all time favorite shows and link it to one that is quickly becoming one of my all time favorites.

I hope they can tone the maturity level of MacFarlane's typical humor down a notch.

Fortunately, you can view every HBO show on HBO, including Luck and Enlightened.

That was a stellar first season, and now it's probably my favorite show on Comedy Central that isn't run by Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.  Even the characters that I wasn't extremely fond of in the beginning - Dr. Armond, Liz and Liz - got funnier as things went along, to the point where I really enjoyed every skit.

I totally agree.  Tig Notaro made it so overt, as if WE wouldn't understand that the audience didn't understand her.  Kinane did a great job of illustrating how stupid this crowd was, and let the we the viewer decipher why they hated him.
