Something about being nosey.

Isn't this show for women?
Why don't they mention the obvious fact that he fucking hates women?

This opinion, I think, is considerably more popular among the set of people who have seen Brazil. A small set, admittedly, but one of high quality.

That is neat. Thanks for sharing!

I think it's intentionally unclear exactly where the line is drawn.

The ending of Brazil, along with the beginning of Up, are the two strongest physical reactions I've ever had to films.

Salmon Rushdie really isn't all that ugly. If you saw him in a crowd of random dudes, you'd totally say he was about average. It's just that you've seen him standing next to Padma a lot, and you are jealous.

Mike Isabella is my least favorite, because he hates women.

Catching Up
Format was some bullshit. Arnold clearly didn't deserve to get sent home. I now hate Lynne for not recognizing that the only mistake their team made was her refusing to cook the pasta, even after the judges said "the only thing wrong with this dish was the undercooked pasta"

Funny to me, had this just been written as Steve's straight opinion of the movie without context, it would have read "this movie is slow and really stupid." He says that four or five times with a variety of reference to specific scenes. I'm sure he could have spent more time making that point and illustrating it. Had

I hear that's why they sing those stupid birthday songs at applebees and shit.

What a complete pile
of bullshit.

Here actual response (the question is phrased "I could ask you about…") is "I wish you wouldn't"

It's also really cheap. If FX is only paying a few 100k an episode, they're likely to be more forgiving about ratings. Also, it's awesome.

Hitler
Does indeed suck at drawing people. Nice detail.

Cab Calloway fired Dizzy Gillespie with the line "I don't want you playing that Chinese music in my band". Calloway was famously small minded and dictatorial to his musicians (and Gillespie was of course the better musician), so I think Lester is partly being a little self-deprecating by using the phrase.

She is no where near 1/3 Angelina Jolie.

Something funny based around a "Terminator X" reference.

I didn't know people did that to Ryan Adams. That's funny.
