Do you like the garments that we wear?

People will like what they like and that's ok.  I do find av club's music coverage frustrating though.  As far as the Madlib stuff goes, I've thought his latest collabs with Freddie Gibbs have been top notch:

Totally missed this.  Thanks for the pic . . . funny stuff.

I love the Congos as well, and this review doesn't match my impression of the album based on the one complete song that I've heard and samples of the rest of the album.  I would go as far as to say the music has a hypnotic, mystical quality that complements the vocals better than the non-Heart of the Congos albums,

Actually, if you visualize this episode as a Larry the Cable Guy tv show, it would be pretty awesome.  "I'm a big boy!"  (you can also imagine Chapelle in whiteface as the larry the cable guy role, because I understand that would make it ok)

Great call - truly a "love to hate" character.

Couldn't agree more.

Great idea.  I was always frustrated by the lineups on the remix albums.  There was an unofficial Survivalism remix that seemed to be by a Wisp alter ego that killed anything on the With Teeth official remixes.

I previously only knew this band as a punchline from the NYE scene in Peepshow.  This review is informative.

In addition to most everything that's been posted so far, I'll throw out Cowboy Bebop. Certainly not as soul-crushing as many of the choices, but I'd say it qualifies as an unhappy ending.

Yes, Ricky's car getting shittier and shittier over the course of the show is a good example of what he's talking about doing.
